The Process

Before you apply:

Take advantage of our Application FAQ document for detailed tips on drafting a successful application. It includes more information on responding each question completely.

Remember that applications cannot be revised once submitted through the online portal, so we recommend saving your progress by clicking Save Draft at the bottom of the application after every few questions and reviewing your answers completely before submitting.

Download this document of the full list of questions to draft your responses before filling out the online application. You can then copy-and-paste the answers into the online application form. This will ensure that your word count is accurate, that spelling errors are corrected, and hard work isn’t lost should something go wrong!

The Interview Process:

We will reach out to applicants by September 4th regarding in-person interview invitations.

In-Person Interview: In addition to preparing for a typical interview experience, applicants who are invited to the in-person interview will be asked to prepare a 3-minute pitch for their organization. Please see page 11 of the Application FAQ document for more detailed information on preparing. The purpose of this activity is to give our selection committee a sense for your existing organization and pitch. Keep in mind that a major goal of Social Entrepreneurship Bootcamp is to help you refine and strengthen your pitch. As such, we’ll be evaluating effort and public speaking as much as the quality of your pitch. In-person interviews will take place on September 11th and 13th, 2019 at CIC Miami.
